2022 Run Around Ireland Challenge - part 2
This year we are working towards our 3rd Active Schools Flag.
For this challenge you are encouraged to walk, jog or run to visit the landmark sights of Ireland.
1km = 1 lap of our school. You can count how many laps you complete on each movement break!

As part of our Active Schools Flag, we have launched the 'Playground Leaders' Initiative. Each day pupils from the senior room organise activities and games for the whole school to take part in at breaktime and lunchtime. Our pupils have found this to be a thoroughly enjoyable project.

Active Breaks: We commit to take part in at least one active break each day. This can take the form of a walk, run or exercise break.
This is a great way to build physical activity into the school day and to bring learning outdoors.
It supports the Athletics strand of the PE programme and gives students the opportunity to develop good running technique.
